Not because of advertising. Durons are only in demand because AMD prices them roughly forty to forty-five percent below equivalently clocked Celerons. And these Durons are typically (save, perhaps, for certain tests with integrated graphics configurations) much faster than equivalently clocked Celerons.

You tell me: How could the part be in serious demand when it is clearly superior among its competitors yet has to be sold at nearly half the price in order to sell much fewer units than the competitive part?

Answer: The manufacturer never advertises.
