YOu poor thing!! That is a dreadful sounding salad- although quite creative as school lunches go.

When we moved from Conn to Va., they served something called kale in the lunchroom; it was drenched in vinegar. We were told we HAD to eat it. No WAY was I going to put that funky smelling stuff in my body so I stuffed mine in my milk carton, but a teacher caught me and MADE ME EAT IT. It was not only disgusting; it was humiliating, becuase of course I gagged in front of all these new people.
Today that would probably be cause for a lawsuit. Child abuse.
And it should be- who knows what terrible scars I bear from the trauma.
