Keating 5 didn't create S+L debacle that was 8 years later on during the cover-up/indictment stages. Don't make irresponsible statements like that they just show your ignorance of history. You need your own history lesson. Garnes St Germaine Act started it in 1981 under big-time lobbying by the Reagan Administraion. It was a Reagan bill and he and his soft money cronies whole-heartedly promoted it. Keating 5 wasn't until near the end. Again a case of soft money corrupting the system. Keating also is a right-wing republican "moralist" for the religious right.
