Gas in California is still around $2.00 a gallon. Under Clinton it was never more than about $1.50. In some states it might be less but it has in general sky-rocketed since Bush took office, peaked and is falling now that the Senate has changed hands and will investigate the so-called energy crisis. When the Dems take the congress Special Prosecutors will be all over this.
