That's complete nonsense. They were totally against Clinton economic policies. But CLinton defeated them and we all won. No one and I mean NO ONE else is daring to publicly claim what you just lied about. The GOP doesn't even want to discuss the economy. Look how bad it is now that Bush is in office. No optimism whatsoever. The GOP was very lucky to win that last election despite record prosperity for all and they know it.

Now a lot of people are regreting their Bush vote. Millions. Many millions. They won't repeat it. Bush got the McCain vote. He won't get that again. Bush got a lot of middleclass union votes. He won't get them again. Bush got a lot of Hispanic votes. He won't get them again. I know I'm projecting here but it's in progress. Bush has gotten himself into a corner he will probably never get out of. Alienated the moderates, inflamed the liberals, catering to the right and created a HUGE scandal which his people will probably be investigated, tried, fined and indicted for. He will be lucky to survive four years assuming the congress changes hands the the special prosecutors are sicked after him and his energy cronies.
