Jerome,

I have ownership in a company; why would I insure it unless I was concerned with its outlook? I have written a call or two in the past only to get the shares called away from me. I am not looking to repeat that performance, especially since the average cost of my shares is in the single digits.

Insurance, like all things of this life, cost money. Except the cost of buying insurance on a stock portfolio could mean that one is out hundreds of thousands of dollars(or millions) when the market finally decides to turn. Because I am only 30, I have no problem waiting this one out.

Regards,

Brian
