Exactly right. The bottom won't be until we aren't hearing any talk, from anyone, about a quick turnaround in business conditions within 6 months. Although I am currently building long positions, I will probably sell the next rally. Since the 2000 top, the SOX has had 3 50% rallies. We will probably have (at least) one more furious bear rally in techs, to slaughter the last of the momentum "investors", to discourage the last optimists, before any sustainable rally is possible. There has been capitulation, a general "giving up", in telcos and telco equips, maybe now in storage also. But not yet in semi-equips.
