No offense AS, but if you'd really like to know what drives the oil industry, SI does have a great thread - Strictly: Drilling and oil-field services. Subject 12099 Go back to last summer and fall if you really want to see why the OSX index was topping out broadly, notwithstanding some short-term crude spikes. BTW, there were several refineries down for maintenance this spring which recently came back on line. Reality Check: none of your Bogeymen-in-Government are bigger than the markets. As for the energy problems in the People's Republic, Bush was right to stay out of that. The people in the land of the Free Lunch cannot be saved from themselves. Let 'em live and learn. CF Rebel
