You would like to "impose" Western traditions on them. That is absolute crap. Nobody has suggested the imposition of Western traditions. We are talking about a government that sends out gangs of youths to physically assault individuals that fail to adhere to the rigid government-prescribed version of the culture. We are talking about a government that denies even the most rudimentary education or health care to half its population. We are talking about a government that is actively moving toward forcing members of religious minorities to wear identifying marks. The issue is not "Western traditions", it is adherence to the most minimal internationally recognized norms of human rights. I don't know how anybody but an utter moron or a religious ideologue could take the idea that a woman ought to be able to walk down a street alone - or accidentally expose a square inch of flesh - without being beaten by thugs representing the religious police and deduce that the person making the statement is trying to impose a western feminist standard.
