Hi,

Yes I remember and you continue to revisit and rub it in! LOL

These days I avoid looking at my portfolio, 360networks has beat PCW hands down - now at 10 cents and in bankruptcy ... and the list goes on.

I no longer believe PCCW is going to be THE BIG Asian company. Richard Li has made one mistake after another. From the beginning I though NOW was a horrible idea and a money losing business plan (if they ever really had a business plan). The JVs for the most part have been done just to generate news, especially last summer once the stock began to tank. I also question whether Richard Li has the contacts and influence in China that his father has. We certainly have not seen any sign of his influence.

I still hold PCW because the market value is so low, it is hardly worth selling. IMO the only future PCW has is if Li Ka-Shing takes over PCCW either thru Cheuy or Hutch.

However, PCW could be a buy if and when the bond deal is done. Then I might be able to unload this P/D stock!

Imagine where PCCW would be today if they had contracted just ONE good venture in China a year ago?

Hope you will come back and visit again - thank you for the article.

Merry
