Starts cleaning a stall as in shower stall, or toilet stall, or what? I think it ought to be reported to the managers of the gym. You could do it in a nice way, presuming the maintenance guy was just clueless rather than creepy, and requesting them to tell him not to do it again. For one thing, doesn't it put into your mind that a guy could walk in at any moment, even when you're there alone? If your gym is like mine, pretty much everybody changes clothes in the open locker room-- where the lockers are. At any given moment, if the maintenance guy walked in, he could be walking in on one or two or more near-naked females. Not meaning to be suspicious, but it's hard not to think that's what your maintenance man had in mind.
