Steve,

I was a real estate broker specializing in foreclosures until I "retired" in 1995. I can say from experience that real estate, especially residential real estate, is closely tied to employment and the quality of employment. In other words, real estate suffers even if umemployment is not high but fear of layoffs are forthcoming, as is the current scenario.

Please add RDN (a mortgage insurance company), BXP, CRE and CRE to your list to look at.
