Dear Valued Customer,

Shaw is looking for experienced Shaw@Home Internet users to take part in the beta test of a new service offered by Shaw@Home.

Shaw has built its own Internet Data Centre to provide Shaw@Home customers an enhanced level of service and can now offer email directly (using an @shaw.ca email address), as well as web and news service directly.

With the beta test, you will be able to experience our new service before it officially launches to all our customers. Please note that during the beta test, not all features will be available at all times. We will also be adding new features as we continue to launch the service.

If you would like to be among the first of our customers to test the service and to provide Shaw feedback, please take part in our beta test. This includes the Shaw@Home service you receive today and is available at no extra charge.

To take part, please follow the below instructions:
1) Register on our Online Customer Care site at secure.shaw.ca. Follow the 3 step
registration process. (Please have your Shaw account number which is located on your bill
and your modem serial number which is located on the back of your Shaw cable modem)
2) Once registered or signed in, click on "Manage My Shaw Internet Services"
3) Sign up for a new Shaw@Home email and webspace account. Your new email address will be
'username@shaw.ca' (Be the first to get a new email address on @shaw.ca!)
4) Set up your Outlook Express to manage your new 'username@shaw.ca' email address. (You can
manage both your @shaw.ca and @home.com email accounts from your Outlook Express to ensure
you will not miss any emails while you make the transition).
5) Set up your Outlook Express to manage Shaw News Services

If you require assistance through-out any of these steps, please visit our support site located at http://support/shaw/links.htm where it gives detailed step by step instructions.
