You should give a damn what Europe thinks. They are our allies and without their support our role in the world is greatly diminished. Economically, militarily and in every other way. The Gulf War never could have happened without them. And they do not like what Bush is doing, especially when it comes to the environment. Also they suffer even more than we do during a gas-energy gouging as they have no oil of their own. They may fear Bush but few over there respect him. They thin he's a dumb bully cowboy in the pockets of oil companies. And you know what? They're right.
