Not. You forget where you live. Our democracy is based on a system where the candidates DEPEND of the "generosity" of the corporate dollar. You buy access to the ear of government with lawyers and lobby dollars. Corruption is built into the system. Ok, I will admit that there are a few good apples out there. Not enough to spoil the rotten ones though. C'mon, let's cut it out! You won't save the world on this thread. We're pissing off the folks that make this a damn good thread.
