That's right log midpoint is lower. If anyones converting linear to log within formula context to normalize value comparisons I'd like to learn. I've 2 pricebars that overlap and that fact remains constant when switched to log but the amount of overlap changes. Perhaps not but it would seem to depending on what the overlap is relative to? I've poorly phrased the question but anyone that knows how to do this conversion will understand what I'm after... <g> maybe.

bar1: L 1 ... H 6.
bar2: L 4 ... H 10.

Linear overlap between bar1 and bar2 = 2 points.
How much is it on log scale and please explain how to make the conversion... opps, it's still 2 points even on log but what I'm looking for is 2/9 or something along those lines if indeed I want to use the range from L to H of the combined bars which =9.
