TG,

He did, they say availability is expected middle of this month (about 1 1/2 weeks from now).

Eventually, they will be right, because if the middle of the month comes and the product is unavailable, they will just keep moving their ETA forward until the product eventually ships.

Just as an exercise, go to pricewatch and look for a product that is unavailable, and check regularly. A good example is Abit KG7 motherboard. The scamsters (lead by PC Progress) listed the availability as July 3rd, first week of July etc. last time I checked. Now that we are past July 3rd, and the motherboard has not hit the market yet, the dates just changed to July 12th, or mid July.

It is a good exercise to check these KG7 vendors for another reason: write down their names, and and never order anything from them. The chances are that they will take your order while they don't have the product in stock (or a clue when they will receive it) and you will be left hanging with an open order, without any guarantee that the scam vendors will be the first to receive the product, or that you will be the first to receive it.

Joe
