Is there anyone still selling puts ? If so, does anyone know how the margin account works with put selling. Do I need to have 100% cash to cover or can I have 50% using my margin account ? I use Brown & Co. I have puts out on Jul 12.50 ORCL ( looks like a winner ) and I sold the July 15 puts on GLW for .75 on Friday. I'm looking at selling some AUG 10's on RMBS for appx 1.25 but I would be in margin if all three stocks got put to me. I don't mind but I don't know if Brown will let me. They close up on the weekend so I'll have to call them on Monday.
