Richard and threaders, with the prime rate at 6.75% for commercial loans I would suspect that corporations should start stepping up to make additional capital expenditures to increase productivity. However, there must be some restraining forces keeping this from happening. What are these restaining forces in a problem solving mode? And, how long can we expect these restaining forces to continue since GS states that technology is what led to increased productivity.
