First of all, I didn't indicate that there was anyone that was "advocating muzzling the press". So that's an obvious and blatant distortion of my post. I used the word undermine, which is substanatially different. Second, in the introductory phrase I indicated that I didn't know one way or another whether they were aware of the effect of undermining the press. So that's another obvious and blatant distortion of my post that you make.

So when you make two blatant, obvious and significant distortions of my post and then claim that those distortions are a BIG LIE, I would have to agree.

If you want to take up the challenge made in my original post and examine the Washington Post on a randomly selected day, story by story, line by line, for bias [or quality of journalism]... have at it. Repeated and unsupported criticisms of some fictitious "liberal media bias" undermines the "Freedom of the Press".

If you're unable [or unwilling] to take on the challenge, all that tells me is that you are a "victim" of the conservative manipulation or part of it.
