There are many untruths in that post. I trust they are mistakes?

"I have seen that list "of Messengers " Brees ,
and it is a pretty narrow one at that."

There is a list of messengers that are named in the Quran. This is a list of persons for whom the message was documented and kept. Partly because their contribution is a part of the great puzzle of life and eternal justice. The Quran goes on to say that there were thousands of messengers sent for which it was not necessary to keep any record. The fact that all people have had access to the message is the important issue. No excuses.

If you look at the excuses people use for disbelief they are pretty much dispelled by the historical account. For example, a common statement from a disbeliever is to say that if God can do miracles why doesn't he just do them all the time so that we can see them and have proof of the existence of God. Well, first Jesus was given miracles to perform as proof of Gods existence so that the people who saw these miracles could choose to believe on them or not. What happened? People who believed on faith believed and people who did not believe on faith did not believe. So it has been demonstrated that witnessing miracles does not result in belief. It does not need to be repeatedly demonstrated. Secondly, the life we experience is full of natural miracles and like in the case of Jesus some of us try very hard, some even make it their life's work to discount life in the temporal universe as a miracle of God.

"Tolerance to other religions?"

Yes. The religion of Islam demands it. Saudi Arabia is not Islam. Yet, Saudi Arabia calls itself an Islamic nation. Muslims are people not God. Yet all kinds of people including famous terrorists, thieves, murderers, and tryannists call them selves Muslims. I am not the judge of either man or nation. Yet I repeat...no one is excused.

"Let the fundamentalism begin..."

This statement when slung by people like you has started to lose all meaning except as hate mail toward believers.

The fact is belief is fundamental to ones course in life. One may practice a religion with all the usual pomp and cerimony yet not see any need to take a stand on the truth or for justice. It is quite apparent to me that many people practice according to the same cerimonial requirements that I do; yet they believe lying is ok, in fact necessary as a way of life. Do we fundamentally believe and worship the same idea of God?...Doesn't seem so.

"With Allah on their side, of course." Most believers hope so but I'm not qualified to know...yet. None of us are and...

No one is excused. See yaround
