The thing is that design schedules slip all the time. The latest Hammer slips should not be a surprise to anyone. And on that same note, no one should be surprised if any of Intel's current projects slip in schedule, either. What's going to happen if Alpha's designs slip out to beyond Compaq's kill date? EP
