A very interesting overview of how the Fiber Channel switches interface with the various storage media. If you haven't seen it, it may be a useful read. hds.com Hitachi Data Systems is an aggressive competitor with very deep pockets. An alliance of HDS and a server maker or storage provider could tip the balance of power.
