David, My book, The Long-Term Day Trader, does not discuss much in the way of moving averages or advanced technical analysis. The technical studies discussed are actually very basic concepts such as uptrends and downtrends. TA was never intended to be the focus of the book. The book is primarily designed to be an overview of the technique of relative strength sector trading that we employ in our Online Trading Center. Perhaps others out there who have read the book can provide a better insight for David as to what you gained the most from it. Deron
