Jim:

1. He wanted to know if all laser vision people were zealots.

2. He said that he would have checked with LVCI if he had been doing a story on them.

3. He said that the VISX announcement was sufficient source for the story that he wrote. I told him that if he took that stance, then there was no reason for him to have written the story in the first place.

4. He told me that he had received your e-mail (not knowing that you and I are connected.)

5. He said that the only people more unreasonable than laser surgery stockholders in defending a stock are computer game and tape storage people.

Jim, I tried to give him as many opportunities to understand "the other side of the story" without attacking him or being overly negative, but he didn't have a clue! In other words, his credibility went straight down the tube!
