Fascinating stuff. Take it to the Creationist thread. Just kidding. Speaking of evolution, if man's reliance on oil damages the eco system of the Galapagos Islands (as the oil-spill there is doing) then what a sad chapter of human evolution. No oil carrier ship should be allowed within 100 miles of places like that. And if we develop better cheaper cleaner sources of energy tankers may some day be an extinct species. Even the one named after Condaleeza Rice. Can't wait. Though I might be live to see it. Someday though.

Oil is a pretty primitive energy source actually considering what we can do technologically. Coal is even worse. Solving the hydrogen energy riddle will be a big discovery. Then we can run everything on water with nu exhaust. It can already be done the machines are just too bulky. I just hope by the time we get there we haven't wiped out 90% of the world's natural wonders. Bush/Cheney are trying to set back back progress by decades. They are the dinosaurs now. The coal and oil boys. Also nukes. Nothing clean. Nothing progressive. Hopefully they too will be extinct soon, certainly within 3 years, maybe sooner. If they lose the congress they'll be impotent and castrated. That is the key battle now. And Bush/Cheney so far are blowing it big-time. None of their photo-ops and feel good camouflage can cover that up.
