I have been looking for my post about Emily and the Trisha Yearwood song, X's and O's.
The Trisha Yearwood concert was Friday night. All 6 of us in the family went. We had a really cool experience, regarding that song and the concert. The story follows as told to and commented on by Westi!!!
neenny861: you know the song, X's and O's, by Trisha Yearwood??
Leigh414: Yes.
neenny861: ok.....well when she sang the song, X's and O'x......Emily went up to the stage and gave her a bag of Cheetos. Trisha took them and smiled, and put them back by her water, and where later she put the flowers she had received.
Leigh414: That is cool!
neenny861: do you know what the Cheetos were?? or why Emily gave them to her??
Leigh414: Why? Were they X's and O's ?
neenny861: YES
neenny861: have you seen the x and o Cheetos??
neenny861: well now for the rest of the story.....
Leigh414: Yes. Daniel pointed them out to me. He knows all the latest products!
neenny861: Emily just bashfully handed her the bag and went back and sat down. Trisha made no mention of them at that point
Leigh414: I am not sure Trisha has excellent people skills.
neenny861: when she finished her last song before encore.....she picked up the bag of Cheetos as she left the stage...but left most of the flowers on stage
Leigh414: That is neat! I had no idea you liked Country Music.
neenny861: When she came back out for her encore she said to the audience. "Ya know all through the show, I kept wondering how that little girl knew I was a closet Cheetos addict.....She said when I went back stage, I looked at them and she gave them to me, cause the were X's and O's!!"
neenny861: "How cool is that??" she said, then continued. "That is so great, now I am going to use that as my excuse to eat them all the time......but I have to eat them cause they are X's and O's"
Leigh414: Daniel is also a Cheetos addict. That must have made Emily's day!
neenny861: later her manager told us "she loved the Cheetos and thought that was great.
Leigh414: That is cool. I was in the grocery store and Daniel introduced them to me.
neenny861: then when we met her after the show. She thanked Emily, and told us that NEVER before has anyone ever given her X and O Cheetos!!!!
Leigh414: She was the first....?
neenny861: YES
neenny861: isn't that neat???
Leigh414: That is a story for school!
Leigh414: That is sooooo neat!
