I'm curious about state space and wondering if a matrix representing states of binary signals is a state space matrix. Simple on off, 0's and 1's but combinations determine if they hit. The combinations are unrestricted by what I consider normal grouping.

Is state space a higher order than binary? If so then how do I get to that level.

Thanks! MM
