Of all the issues in the world you picked this bandwagon to jump on because it bolsters the feminist agenda

I didn't raise the issue, and it is no more interesting to me than any of the numerous other things we've discussed here. What interest it does hold stems less from feminist concerns than from the way it illustrates the hypocrisy and ethical bankruptcy of religious fundamentalism. I suppose that could be interpreted as serving an atheist agenda, but what other agenda would you expect an atheist to serve?
