Iusacell, Unicom Horizon Mobile To Conduct Roaming Tests siliconinvestor.com MEXICO CITY, Jul 6, 2001 (El Economista/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- Mexican mobile phone carrier Iusacell (BMV:CEL; NYSE: CEL chart, msgs) in August will conduct its first-ever international roaming tests - in Asia - after signing a deal with China's Unicom Horizon Mobile Communications, according to a report in Mexican financial daily El Economista. The agreement will allow the two companies to extend the range of services available to clients, offer more added value, and expand their coverage in two of world's fastest-growing regions, Iusacell said in a press release. Iusacell and Unicom Horizon Mobile Communications both use CDMA technology.
