There is a great deal of overlap with the Oracle and Sun customer base. But, I wouldn't necessarily believe that an upgrade of Sun by a single analyst will have too much affect on ORCL.

SUN has been battered and abused. It is a rational bet that we'll see a micro rally in the server/box manufacturers. But, I really don't believe that it is any indication that things are getting much better.

EMC didn't make their quarter...and guided analysts lower on next. I think that is an indication that IT spending will slow or continue at the same pace. This doesn't bode well for the techs.

I'd bet a lot of money on CSCO. I tripled my position today in CSCO. I look for the networking stocks to lead us out of this slump first and CSCO is the big gorilla.
