What are some possible soul searching solutions that would be considered adequate replacements?

Is your mind fully satisfied then that it IS necessary to replace God? Do human beings yet require a supernatural justification for the good which they contemplate, and for the evil which they execute?? Must God forever be the scapegoat for our bloody history of subjugation and genocide?

Do you think it would be beneficial to merge the religious myths of the world? Would this unite those who require supernatural explanations? As war (like religion), is about superiority--will an egalitarian unification of religious myth serve to renounce much of the authority for warfare?
