I find bargains .... NO matter the month .... I'm considering going with a bud next week ... Mare has to go to Austin for a couple of days and I have a "free" ticket from Southwest ... only hitch is I must "two step" it from Dal to Phoenix to Vegas but I have checked and can get a room in the Flamingo for 60buck per nite then .... but I'll be on the lookout for a deal from Newark .... I don't think much about driving time ... as I live in the boonies and have to travel two hours to get to a city .... there is a reason for the rates to be low in Aug .... HEAT ... I'm fine with the heat myself ... but it is difficult for most folks, or at least the normal ones .... hey ..
