I can't decide if it's good or bad for @Home. I think Comcast has a better handle on rolling out broadband than T does, but it's just one more distraction to have yet another merger with the attendant management changes and additional debt. The one positive is that it gives @Home a bigger customer to keep....or lose.

The one question on my mind is if Comcast merges with AT&T Broadband will it adopt the agreement that @Home now has with T or will it adopt the agreement that Comcast has with @Home? Presumably the interest T has in @Home would go with the AT&T Broadband unit. It's in both T's and Comcast's interest to provide ISP services to AOL, etc. but the question that has never been answered is will that include @Home in some capacity or not?
