GV, "In the end, it's all rather simple." I agree. At some point the market will change. Bear markets don’t last forever. Most people that buy stocks do so at the top of the market when they should be buying when conditions are as they are now. Buying now it is a win situation for a long term investor. Stocks may go lower but it is too hard to pick the bottom. Just my opinion.

Who knows when the market will change? Hopefully Windows XP coupled with faster processors will spark a turnaround. According to this article videoconferencing, chat and telephony is incorporated in XP and could cause a new wave of CPU buying. Just maybe.

Anyway, happy investing!
