I'm sorry I don't have info. on that, but if you consider the company an insider, yea the're buying the bargain stock. Nokia, and the other customers of SSPIF are making outstanding products from Spectrum's technology.
NOTE of interest, Texas Instruments is a member of IMTC and this powerful oversight board, is making decisions that will govern the industry standards for at least a decade. Spectrum has already adopted all of the standards to date. Their star is rising, and along with others will have a nice portion of an almost trillion $ dollar industry that is in place, and moving north rapidly, worldwide. The huge payoffs have to do with volume, not price.
In what appears to be a rare situation, Spectrum is poised and ready to deliver the product, at the manufacturing costs needed. The one time in the past century where such a situation existed(and still does today)is the electronics market(televisions, radios, vcrs, etc.)
Take a look at DSPG as an example a month ago they were selling for aroung $8, now their near $15. IMTC adopted the're standard for voice and video communications over the internet.
Spectrum is right there, it's price is depressed, mainly due to a lack of recognition. The Digital era has arrived in force, it had too. Why hasn't the price moved? It really is self explainatory, look at this thread.
There is precious little stock available, when news hits, the movement of the stock price will be real neat. I myself made a bundle on DSPG and I now have a nice chunk of this baby, why? The investment community is looking our way (DSP)and SSPIF is a huge vein of gold waiting to be discovered. With so many prospectors poking around it, some huge changes are in the works. Last year this stock sold around 14, IMO you could see it double that this year. |
