I question how much of the retailers will get of the rebate check... Most people that I talk to (lower income, say <$30K) say it will go to bills already generated... And come on it's only $300-600 smacks...

The consumer is so tapped and getting worried about the economy I think it will go directly to bills (if they were smart)... IMO
