Atin, re NYSEbp: competitive advantage probably prevents other providers from publishing their set of symbols. This reminds me of the Wordens' BOP and Money Stream. I gave up on those proprietary indicators and use similar, public ones instead. If you put all "common stocks" in there and be done with it, we'll not have the ability to compare to other providers' data. But you can still calculate NYSEbp a few years back, so people can see what it looked like for past downturns using YOUR data set. Commonality becomes less important for industry bp. Gottfried
