Ferguson Lake Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-Platinum-Palladium Project, Nunavut, Canada
64.5 METER (212 FEET) DRILL INTERSECTION AT FERGUSON LAKE WEST ZONE (Click Above to see Longitudinal Map)
Starfield Resources Inc. is pleased to report assay results for Drill Holes FL01-73 and FL01-74 from the West Zone at the Company’s Ferguson Lake Nickel-Copper-PGE-Cobalt project. Hole FL01-73 was drilled on Section 5734 West and extended higher-grade mineralization a further 80 meters below the depth previously reported.
Hole FL01-74 was drilled on Section 5856 West to test the massive sulphide unit mid-way between intersections obtained and reported earlier in Holes FL01-71 and FL01-72 which are 200 meters apart. This hole significantly extends the higher-grade core mineralization identified at Ferguson Lake West Zone.
  Results are summarized in the accompanying table. Length Hole No. Interval (m) (m)	(ft)	Cu(%)	Ni(%)	Co(%)	Pd (g/t)	Pt (g/t)	Pd+Pt (g/t) FL01-73 579.00-580.16	1.16	3.9	0.52	1.09	0.127	5.00	0.28 5.28 583.65-590.82	7.17	23.6	1.22	0.64	0.079	1.64	0.16 1.80 (including	584.20-588.20	4.00	13.2	1.18	1.04	0.127	2.43	0.22 2.65) 601.40-602.62	1.22	4	2.52	0.29	0.043	1.00	0.98 1.98 605.53-607.27	1.74	5.7	1.3	0.71	0.083	1.65	0.03 1.68 FL01-74 370.30-434.75	64.45	212.7	0.96	0.53	0.064	1.4	0.24 1.64 (including	370.30-395.87	25.57	84.4	1.07	0.77	0.091	1.94	0.35 2.29) (and	370.30-387.37	17.07	56.3	1.19	0.88	0.105	2.2	0.39 2.59)
Currently, holes FL01-81 and FL01-82 are being drilled, and mineralized intersections from holes FL01-75, 76, 77, 78, 79 and 80 are being processed.
The Company’s assayer, Bondar Clegg, has completed a property-wide laboratory test of core samples to determine an accurate specific gravity for the various styles of mineralization identified at Ferguson Lake. These new technical results are being compiled and, with inclusion of 2001 drill results to date, will allow Starfield’s independent Consulting Engineer, N.C. Carter, P.Eng., Ph.D. to produce an updated resource estimate that will be published upon receipt.
On behalf of the Board of Directors
