Rick,

Buy Scheme: Buy equal dollar amounts at $2.5 increments

AMAT $25 - 40
NVLS $25 - 37.5
KLAC $22.5 - 37.5
LLTC, MXIM $27.5 - 37.5
ALTR $15 - 21 ($1.5 increments)
XLNX $24 -34

I used the following book values: NVLS $11.18; AMAT $9.28; KLAC $9.71. 3 x book is ~$28 to $33. Losses will reduce book, somewhat. My prices start at a low of 2 to 3 x book and go to 4 x book. I start high to ensure I get some and I expect to trade in the range to lower my average cost. For example, if I buy AMAT at $40, 37.5, and 35, I will try to sell the shares I bought at $40 for $40 and use the money to buy again at $35. After the second $35 purchase, I will try to sell the $37.5 shares for $37.5 and use the money for a third $35 purchase.

When I started the blood thread I talked about quality and made a commitment that 1/2 of the companies would be quality. The other 1/2 met the 2 x cash 1.5 x book. I have tried to move 100% to quality and I have reduced 8 semi-equips to 4 (ASML is the 4th). I have added 4 semis, all quality.
