lakers,

<< you failed to search the following >>

My good man, I'm not here on the Nokia thread to search up anything for thee.

<< For your example, the SKT signed the deal in June 2000, are you trying to tell me they can only start the whole thing after the contract was signed? And for only 4 months they have things in the place, up and running is nothing short of miracle. So you see the contrast here, you see the pattern here? >>

Do you see the pattern here?

You start with a terms sheet, right?

You often do an LOI. right?

You finalize contract, right?

You receive a release against the contract, right?

You may receive a release against the pending contract, before the contract is finalized right?

In the case of SKT or KTF using Samsung we might in fact simply append and existing contract, right?

You ship goods or perform services against it, right?

Do you see the pattern here?

That's the way this industry works.

That's the way it has always worked.

Do YOU see the pattern here?

<< Do you really believe that SKT, KDDI, VZ, Sprint, are not going to do HDR just because you are seeing no contracts there? >>

SKT, KTF, KDDI, and LG will do 1xEV-DO.

Verizon may or may not do 1xEV-DO. If they do it they may do it highly localized,

Sprint PCS has indicated they would implement 1xEV-DO sometime out in 2003.

Several have conjectured that Sprint PCS will bypass 1xEV-DO altogether and wait for 1xEV-DV, or do a limited build of 1xEV-DO and then go to 1xEV-DV. Alltel, Bell Mobility, Qwest, and Sprint PCS are pushing like crazy to have the
1xEV-DV framework proposal completed no later than the opening plenary of the
September 2001 WG5 3GPP2 meeting.

Now in the meantime if SKT selects vendors in September for their World Cup build out, let me know. Heck, maybe they'll cooperate in another "commercial launch" in Q4, like the "commercial launch" last October 1. That one was a screamer.
