Paul,

Yep.

3 cents a share !!

3 cents a share in Q2 (if that's what it is) + 37 cents in Q1 equals 40 cents per share so far in 2001.

So far, Intel has 7 cents earnings from Q1. It will take earnings of 33 cents per share for Intel to match AMD. What do you think the chances are of that happening?

As far as revenues, Intel's were down 23% in Q1, and are expected to drop another 5%, or 28% drop combined.

In the same period, AMD revenues went up 1% in Q1 and are expected to be down 17%, or 16% drop combined.

We will see what will happen with market share, but most likely, there will be another quarter of AMD gains of market share at Intel expense.

To sum it up, Intel is losing unit market share, revenue share, earnings share to AMD and you guys are celebrating.

Cheers!

Joe
