"Yes , and all those "miracles " ? You didn't answer ..."
There is a very simple reason that Paul does not concentrate on the miracles that Jesus did in His earthly ministry. First Paul was not an eyewitness to them, having met the risen Jesus on the road to Damascus. His message was to proclaim the power of the risen Christ to forgive sin, who, having paid the ultimate price, with His own sinless life, received the ringing endorsement of God through the resurrection from the dead. He did not deny any of the miracles of Christ, he simply built on what had already been established by the eyewitness of the Apostles. Would you plow a field twice?
"and a little more tolerance"
Who is the intolerant one? Why it's you Mars, you who refuse to allow any opinion but your own. You, who would force everyone to believe just like you. You, who continue to denigrate the beliefs of others as though it were a game. You, who are just the sort that would have stood at the foot of the cross and taunted Jesus, with, "Why hath thy God forsaken you for so long ?"
Shame on you and your house.
"how the world is filled with such evangelicals and so many fundamentalists, in Judaism , Christianity and Islam ...and how every one of you is right ".
Are you saying that they are all wrong and you are right? It seems you missed yourself on the list. Would you recognize a self contradicting statement if it hit you in the third eye? I highly doubt it! |
