I guess somebody forgot to tell IBM - whis selling these like Hot Cakes !!

Can you find a page where you can actually buy these? There are number of 700 MHz models listed that can be ordered immediately, with 2 week delivery. But no 900 MHz ones, as far as I can see.

Looks like another paper launch. The thing was announced on March 21, more than 3 months ago.

Now in the retrospect, would you admit that Intel was lying back in 2000 when they said that it was not their inability to make 900 MHz Cascades - Xeon that was stopping them from manufacturing it, but that it was actually Compaq and other OEMs that "asked" them not to sell it.

I remember all of the Intel shareholders dutifully swallowed, no question asked, as usual.
