Jim,

Prudential Securities is NOT buying DWSC for its own portfolio or for any funds that it manages.

The report which states that Pru is doing this bases its data on Depository Trust Company reports, which provide listed companies with a periodic statement of which brokerage firms are holding the company's stock in their customer's accounts. If Pru were buying for its own account, it would need to state this on its Form 13F which it files with the Securities & Exchange Commission, and it has NOT done this.
