I don't mind intelligent rebuttals... ...I recommend the ignore button.

I once thought the ignore button was a good idea. I used it once on rich4eagle, but unignored him when I realized he had some good things to say and was quite capable of saying it eloquently even though he often failed to exercise his ability. Since then we have become fast friends, but we still don't agree. Rich has also become more careful with his posts and they are now worth reading.

I would prefer not knowing that somebody I wanted to ignore was posting. The trouble with the ignore button is, you still have to look at the message in the index but you have no idea whether it is worth reading.
