Latest Datek Oddite.

This morning I entered a market order to buy PMTC at 9:31:03 after the stock began trading more than 25000 in the first minute.

At 9:33:23 the order executed at 3/8 higher than when I entered the order and a full 2 minutes and 20 seconds later. Yet I am being charged a commission. Why! Because the order just sat someplace and did nothing for 2 minutes. Processing did not begin until 9:33:20. How can an an order entered on an actively trading stock just sit and do nothing for 2 minutes. Sure the order executed in 3 seconds, but where did it go for the other 2 minutes.

Another example as to how a $9.99 commission can cost you more than $9.99.

Steaming Quotes? AMEX Stop orders? NYSE Stop Orders? Where are all of these things they claim they will be offering but never come through.
