Yeah, right, that post has consumed me for months.... NOT.... When I saw the DoD contract announcement, it caused a bell to go off in my head, because I had been told quite authoritatively by you that GX had no chance getting government contracts of that sort. It took me only a second to find the related posts (there's this thing called a search engine on SI....). So at least we both agree that you were wrong... I don't buy the fact that there were no other US carriers either willing or able to bid for the contract... quite nice of MartinT to throw you that bone... DWB
