The market and the SOX are opening higher. Although I happen to agree in principle with those notes from CSFB I am not sure that the SOX can trade much lower than 550 without turning positive for at least several days. The market is back to wanting to shake off bad news and move higher.

I'm going to assume that new products from Microsoft and other companies are going to help expand orders later this year. Even if revenue falls as orders grow incrementally it should be just a question of time before orders pick up enough to drive prices higher. I'm thinking by the end of October we definitely see prices for chips and equipment stabilize and move higher. I would welcome discussion and opinions on this subject. Hypothetically lets say I am right;

Do you want to be invested now or wait 3 1/2 months for proof that another up cycle has begun?
