OT- You didn't understand Madden's drawing a corollary between UN's ZERO tolerance for "domestic gun ownership" and a school systems ZERO tolerance for firearms in the hallways, classrooms and playgrounds, or you just don't support one of those "Zeroes," John? The part I went "huh" on was the attempt to "burn" guns...I guess a stack of Winchester 30-30 wooden stocks would make a nice bonfire...but burn AK47's and Saturday night specials? Yeah, right... It wasn't too many months back a small town in the state of Oregon was embarrassed by the revelation that a voluntarily surrendered weapon, USED IN A CRIME NO LESS, was sold by the "collection event" authorities, to raise money for the local constabulary to purchase new weapons for their men/women in blue. Turns out the whole hush-hush mess was uncovered when the weapon was again used in a crime and the previous owner was arrested for it being a non-registered weapon... Yeah, let's all support "gun-burning"....... *NOT!!!!!*
